Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic care involves a variety of treatment techniques aimed at improving the overall health of each patient. These techniques can include manual therapy, spinal manipulation, dry needling, cupping, movement modification, rehab, and sport-specific training and performance.

We design custom home rehab programs that focus on increasing strength and mobility. This is the most effective way for results to be maintained to prevent the recurrence of injuries.

Each adjustment depends on what is indicated for the patient. These can range from spinal adjustments including cervical, thoracic, lumbar, and SI joints to extremities such as hips, ankles, shoulders, and wrist.

Conditions We Treat

We treat a wide variety of injuries. Back and neck pain, headaches, TMJ, SI joint pain, Sciatica, plantar fasciitis, shoulder, knee, and hip pain, disc disorders, carpal tunnel, radiating pain and numbness, and general myofascial pain.

Symptoms that are left untreated can often progress to move severe pain and dysfunction. Most people think “oh this will go away soon” while their symptoms linger for months when we could have quickly resolved them.

Here at Back to Back, we use a holistic approach to improve the overall health and function of each patient.  We are committed to solving problems, not just masking symptoms.

 FAQ

  • Is Chiropractic safe?

Chiropractic is widely recognized as one of the safest non-drug, noninvasive forms of health care available for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects. The risks associated with chiropractic, however, are very small. Many patients feel immediate relief following chiropractic treatment, but some may experience mild soreness, stiffness, or aching - just as they do after some form of exercise. Current research shows that minor discomfort or soreness following spinal manipulation typically fades within 24 hours.

  • Do I have to come to see you 3 times a week for the next 6 months?

No, absolutely not. We do not put patients on general care plans for the “rest of their life”. We use a patient-centered approach to target the chief complaint. In most cases, we can resolve the issue within 4 visits and some are significantly improved after the first visit.

  • Do you offer maintenance programs?

We do offer performance packages. This is the best way to maintain results post-treatment and to increase performance. Once we have resolved your chief complaint we can focus on improving strength and performance to prevent future reoccurrence of injury.

  • Do you take my insurance?

We are cash based clinic and do not accept insurance. The reason behind this is because it allows us to be a patient-centered practice with your best interests at heart. This gives us more flexibility with treatment programs and allows the visit to be one-on-one with the Doctor to provide the best care possible. We do accept FSA and HSA.
